La huitième merveille du monde de la musique. Et dire que je n'en ai eu ouïe qu'aujourd'hui. Orgasme sonore pur. 

Après ce moment d'extase, je vous laisse écouter par vous même et me communiquer vos sentiments. Aerosmith es né dans les seventies, en plein renouveau musical et sont un des pionniers du heavy metal typique de cette époque, quoique empreint de blues. Steven Tyler, un jeune batteur de Boston, rencontre le guitariste Joe Perry dans la boutique d'un marchant de glaces du New Hampshire. Ensemble ils forment d'abord le Jam Band, un power trio à la Cream, avec le bassiste Hamilton. Un second guitariste, Whitford, puis un batteur, Kramer, se joignent à eux, Tyler se consacrant au chant. Le succès du groupe est à la hauteur de sa décadence quelques années plus tard. Ils renaissent pourtant de leurs cendres après cure de désintox et sont toujours en tournée.
Le succès en 45 tours de la ballade "Dream On" reste régional, titre inclus dans leur premier album sans nom de 1973, dont les ventes sont modestes. Réédité en 1976, le simple "Dream On" impose le style des power ballads qui plaira tant aux radios FM.

Mais en 1950, naquit le futur musicien psyché rocker Peter Frampton !

 Peter Frampton demeure un des artistes et guitaristes le plus célébrés de l'histoire du Rock. A 16 ans il fut le chanteur principal et guitariste du jeune groupe anglais the Herd. A 18 ans, il co-fonde un de ses premiers super groupes, Humble Pie. Son cinquième album solo, le dynamisant Frampton Comes Alive!, est l'un des enregistrement live les plus vendus de tous les temps, c'est son entrée fulgurante dans une carrière internationale
Il est de nationalité anglaise et naturalisé américain. Depuis ce succès, il a sorti plusieurs albums majeurs et a travaillé avec David Bowie et pour Pearl Jam avec Matt Cameron et Mike McCready entre autres.
Ses chansons les plus connues comme"Breaking All The Rules", "Show Me the Way", "Baby, I Love Your Way", "Do You Feel Like We Do", et "I'm in You", sont encore diffusées sur les radio de classic-rock. Il joua son propre rôle dans des series télé comme les Simpsons et Family Guy. Frampton est connu pour son talent de guitariste et particulièrement avec une Talkbox et sa voix de tenor.
